The Central Iowa Kennel Club, founded in 1947, is based in Newton,
Iowa.
Each year, we host two all-breed dog shows. Our show date is
third weekend in January and we host the two shows back-to-back
(Saturday/Sunday).
We also have fun matches, potlucks, and educational events.
Membership is open to all persons eighteen years of age and older
who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club and who
subscribe to the purposes of this Club. While membership is to
be unrestricted as to residence, the club's primary purpose is
to be representative of the breeders and exhibitors in its immediate
area.
